One Response to Yankee Traveler RV Park

  1. Jason Parker on September 30, 2013 at 9:02 am

I stayed at Yankee Traveler for two months in late summer 2013. The grounds are excellently maintained (though I had to ask the lawn contractor to blow the grass clippings off my patio; he said he would and then didn’t). The owner lives on site and clearly takes pride in the property. The staff can be found all over the park starting at 5:00am every day, cleaning and tidying things up. They have a nice size pool, though they should run the pumps at night during the summer to help keep the temperature down!

Summer office hours are very slim with no phone number posted to be able to call someone in an urgent situation. Mailboxes appear to be an open pigeon-hole style plywood box. I had my mail sent to an alternate address off site.

The public bathrooms are very nice, trimmed out with Mediterranean-style tile.

They installed many palm trees during my stay, which enhanced the visual appeal and added to the pleasant atmosphere quite a bit. All sites have concrete drives and patios. Some have concrete site pads. Mine was crushed asphalt that kept sticking to my feet and getting on the patio (painful to step on). Laundry facilities were adequate, but could become crowded during Winter season if everyone decided that Sunday was wash day.
