Why is this a 5 star campground?? Although the scenery and animals are nice, the facility itself is sort of run down. I first came here in April of 2010, getting everything ready to move. It was still the wet season. The place is in a great location; nice amount of nature. The deer are very friendly, there are wild turkeys, and the manager has cats whom like to roam everywhere. The people were nice too. We left in early May and came back this August to move. It was horrible. Apparently summer brings in the trash; meth-heads, trailer trash, etc. This was not the place I remembered from April. Someone was badly hurt from some punk kids (who were most likely on drugs). Thank goodness we got our apartment. There are men and women showers and toilets. In the summer, the toilets clog alot, because the camp is full. The two maintenance people who worked there quit recently, so who knows what is to happen. There is free Wi-fi, but you cannot do anything but check email. And as of three days ago, if you have a mac or linux computer, you can’t use the internet because “those systems take up too much bandwith” which is bull. The owner blocked videos (which were available in April). The place is poorly managed, if able, avoid this place, ESPECIALLY in the summer.
