This is not a 5 star campground…I have stayed in many campgrounds and this was by far the worst place to stay.
The rental campers are dirty, nusty and smell like sewage, with plywood covering the floor in some of the bedrooms. If you are lucky to have a fridge it is on the porch or the freezer is frozen over and unusable.
They say they are pet friendly but no matter where you take your dog they yell at you to take it somewhere else…
The local seasonal people are rude and curse at the visitors even when there are babies present.
We were there for a weekend wedding for our daughter and had nothing but problems.
We rented 2 camping trailers and some tent sites for our friends and family, about 100 people for the weekend we decided to do their saturday bar-b-que as a treat for the grandbabies they did not tell you that you have to bring your own drinks plates seasoning napkins and plasticware…becareful when they serve the food they do not use gloves or tongs/spoons…
I would have to say this place was the worst experience I have ever had….
If you have to pick any place but this…it was very disappointing for our friends who came from out of state, they left at sunup because of the trailer conditions and the management.
Any place but this would be better.
