Snowy Peaks RV Park & Rentals Details

In the heart of the Colorado Rockies you will find your ideal vacation spot at Snowy Peaks RV Park and Rentals in Buena Vista. Off I-70 or US 50 and onto Highway 24, the park on Collegiate Peaks Scenic Byway lives up to its name and has a list of amenities and activities to make it well worth the trip. You can reserve a grassy, treed site for your RV (we are big rig friendly) or tent. All sites include picnic tables; some include CATV & fire rings. Other amenities include private family style showers, laundry, and propane. Well mannered pets OK. We also rent late model travel and pop-up trailers.

Around the park plan to be treated to a quiet atmosphere, but lots to do, including facilities for many camping-type outdoor games. We may plan a pancake breakfast or a game of bingo or play beanbag baseball, horseshoes or Goofy Golf, or just hang out with the kids at our new Pirate’s Cove Playground. Our rec room is always busy with socializing and such things as crafts and you'll find free WiFi at all our sites and internet access in the clubhouse, and when the sun sets, you will be drawn to our central campfire pit for live music and good old fashioned camaraderie.

There is so much to see and do we hope you will return often and, if so, we offer on-site RV storage, set-up and return-to-storage services.

Recreation near Snowy Peaks RV Park & Rentals

In the area surrounding Snowy Peaks RV Park and Rentals you can find world-class white water rafting and kayaking at South Main River Park, the longest whitewater park of its kind in the country. Stroll through historic Buena Vista, Salida or Leadville for shopping and great restaurants and take advantage of the area's excellent lake and stream fishing, extensive ATV/off-road trails & hiking trails, wildlife viewing and hot springs pools. You can enjoy scenic drives to Aspen, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Central City and Cripple Creek casinos and many other great places.
