Sandy Beach RV Resort Details

New Hampshire RV Campground at Sandy Beach has long been one of the premier RV campsites in the whole state. Situated among stately pines, overlooking a picturesque New England spring fed lake, it has also been one of the best kept secrets in New Hampshire.

Sandy Beach RV Resort is centrally located in Contoocook, New Hampshire. Just 15 minutes north of the state capitol, Concord, NH and just a little over 1 hour from the Boston, MA area.

Our New Hampshire RV Resort at Sandy Beach is ideal for day trips to surrounding areas including the White Mountains, the Lakes Region and the New Hampshire Seacoast.

You can reach Sandy Beach RV Resort via Interstate 93 or 89 if traveling from the north or south or Route 9 traveling from the east or west.

Sandy Beach RV Resort borders Rolfe Pond, a New Hampshire spring fed lake in Contoocook, NH.

With over 1000 feet of waterfront and 300 feet of sandy beach on our RV campground, your family will enjoy exceptional swimming in a crystal clear body of water that boasts a naturally smooth, gradually sloping sandy bottom.

Both large and small mouth bass, yellow perch, rock bass, blue gills as sunfish abound in this well-balanced, 40 acre body of water. Hornpout and pickerel will occasionally be hooked as well.

If fishing sounds relaxing to you, bring your canoe, paddleboat, or small row boat (electric motors welcome) to our Contoocook, NH, RV park and enjoy the water. Even if you don't catch that 5-pounder, you are still RV camping in about as beautiful setting as you are likely to find in New Hampshire or anywhere.

What separates Sandy Beach RV Resort from the ordinary New Hampshire RV parks?, other than natural beauty and tranquility, is the fashion in which the park is operated.

  • Great Weekday & Weekend Activities for Adults, Teens & Kids
  • Laundry Facilities
  • Boat Slips Available

We have been seasonal campers at Sandy Beach for 8 years now. This year we are under new management and it is like a whole new campground. The new management team is friendly, cooperative and helpful. I look forward to the next 8 years.

This campground seemed great on the photos, setting a reservation was easy, check in very easy, but they placed me in a valley. Doesn’t seem like an issue, except we got about 2″ of rain that night (7.29.11), and the runoff from every other site flooded my site. I had at least 3″ of water in my entire site, forcing me to relocate my tent to another location. There were at least six other empty campsites..all of which SIGNIFICANTLY higher than mine, and I was placed in a valley. GOOD PLANNING ON THEIR PART.

When I called to complain, they had no record of me being there. Wonderful. I REALLY want my money back, I hope they see this.
