the pond and river are very dangerous with hidden sunken surprises scattered all over. History of the pond from what locals say is that it is water covered farm fields as an expansion to the river. Underneath still exist damaging rock walls, etc that will damage your boat greatly.
Although their website makes this seem like a wonderland of things to do, i recommend not bringing a boat if you are looking to get out on a lake. My poor boat stopped dead out near the waterfall due to prop damages
More showers and bath houses are needed and the boat launch wasn’t so good.
A little on the pricey side for no hook ups also…
was not too impressed, but still managed to have a good time i suppose
