Overlooking the Chickahominy River in Lanexa, Virginia, Riverside Camp II Campground is a small fishing campground offering a quiet, friendly camping facility catering to the most avid fishermen.

  • Guests will find overnight  riverview sites with water, sewer and 30 & 50 amp electric to accommodate up to 38 ft RVs or tents,and basic cabins.
  • Cabins come with no bath or kitchen facilities.Bathhouse is approximately 200 ft away.
  • No pets allowed at or in Cabin Rentals and no smoking allowed in Cabins.
  • Pets are welcome on overnight sites.
  • Our overnight section is small and spaces go fast,so reserve early! "Please notice that our overnight area for tents or RVS is neither primitive or secluded".The sites are only secluded from the seasonal sites.
  • Come and stay for a weekend,week or longer and enjoy the river!
  • Watch the eagles soar and stunning sunsets from the comfort of your campsite!

Riverside Camp II Campground welcomes tent campers, RVers, and even those without any camping gear! Choose from riverview tent sites, RV sites, or a cozy cabin.We have tent or RV sites that include full hook-ups and accomodate up to 38 ft RVs.These sites are riverview and each have a picnic table and fire ring with grill top.The campground provides a dump station for the convenience of all campers.We do not offer internet or cable.If you receive a unavailability with a reservation please call us anyway.

Riverside Camp II Campground offers campers amenities and facilities including full service bathhouses with separate men's and women's restrooms and hot showers which is approximately 200 ft.from the overnite camping area. There is a convenient camp store offering bait, tackle, and fishing accessories, as well as snacks,soda,ice and RV supplies.Guests will also find numerous picnic tables throughout the campground so you and your family can enjoy an outdoor meal.

Recreation near Riverside Camp II Campground

The Chickahominy River is named after the Native American people who still inhabit the region. The river is one of the longest rivers in Virginia and is teeming with fish, birds, and other wildlife. Fishing is excellent with an abundance of bass, striper, and catfish.

Busch Gardens - Located approximately 20 miles from Riverside Camp II Campground, Busch Garden is great for a day trip for the entire family. Directions to Riverside Camp II Campground

East Directions :
Take Rt 64 east to exit 214, make right turn on state Rt 155 south 5 miles to stoplight at Rt 60 and make left, take Rt 60 east approx 7 miles to Rt 627 (waterside dr) and make a right and follow 3 miles , cross the railroad tracks, go another 1/4 mile to the "Y" in the road and stay to the left approx 1/4 mile on left on (riverside dr)

West Directions :
Take Rt 64 west to exit 231a, go 2/10th mile to stoplight, make right and go 2 miles to next stoplight, go straight through (now on Rt 60 west), go 6 miles and make left on Rt 627 and follow directions from above
