In the heart of the San Juan Islands you will find the end of the trail and of tiring travel. Stake your claim at Pioneer Trails RV Resort!

Enjoy the tall Evergreens of Washington State as they shade your roomy RV Site. We offer modern RV sites with full hook-ups and cable TV, but maintain old-fashioned family camping. We have plenty of pull-thrus for easy in, easy out, and our new RV Super Sites, all nestled in 26 acres of tall trees and lush ferns. We also have rustic, cozy 1 & 2 room cabins, as well as the Coach House which has its own bathroom, romantic fireplace and even the kitchen sink, for our non-camping guest.

Ask our staff about more fun things to do in our area or kick back here at the park and experience our own camping fun. From our outdoor basketball court, regulation horseshoe pit and more there is something for everyone at Pioneer Trails!

We wandered in here for a week stay, about five years ago. We liked the park and staff so much, that we have spend at least six weeks here, every summer since then. It is not on the beach, but in the forest. Big sites, widely separated, with many of them suitable for big rigs. It is a very quiet park, close to many things to do and see. Industrial strength wifi all over the park. The staff know how to run a happy park and do an excellent job of it.

We spent Presidents Day weekend at Pioneer Trails Park. The campground was very clean and well maintained. Since it is the off season, a reservation wasn’t necessary and we had a good selection of campsites to choose from.

We have a 29 foot trailer. It was easy to make our way through the campground.

The campground offers a variety of campsites including pull thru and back in sites. You also have your choice of being in the trees or in open areas.

The park is dog and kid friendly which is good for us because we have both. One important thing to note, due to insurance reasons, certain breeds are not allowed at the campground so check first.

Internet is important for me. I must say, their internet access was probably the fastest and best quality I have had in a long time at any campground. My wireless connection was rock solid the entire time.

The entire staff was extremely nice and easy to work with.

The only possible negative thing I saw is their is only one main bathroom for the entire campground. During the off season, it wasn’t a big deal but if the campground was near capacity, I would think there would be lines for the showers and distance from the campsites could be an issue.

I reccomend Pioneer Trails RV Resort. We will deffinately stay their again.
