This is the second time I have camped here. I must say my wife and I had a great time! I can’t give any complaints because there wasn’t anything to complain about. The owners were very professional in treating its guest and willing to go the extra mile s in making sure that our site was ok in case there were issues with the cause of heavy rain deposit puddles. The atmosphere very upbeat and everyone were friendly, We enjoyed the wine and cheese outing, great food and desserts, good wine choices (local winery). My wife and had a lot of fun and enjoy the camp experience there and looking forward to doing it again. I highly recommend it to anyone whom looking to camp it is well kept secret oasis in the mountains!

I read plenty of reviews on various sites that made this place seem pretty crappy, mainly due to the owner’s attitudes and lack of customer service. I wanted to give them the chance since I camped here years ago and enjoyed it, hoping that things would have changed.

After taking our E-Z Up down while we left the grounds, they tore it and packed it improperly causing it to be impossible to setup again. When very politely trying to bargain with one of the owners (the wife) to cover their damage, her husband then came to our site, accused us of harassing his wife, and said, “shame on me for trying to help!”

Very poor customer service, attitude, and quality for the price. Guess there is a reason there plenty of other campgrounds in the area with higher rates. You get what you pay for! We will never return. I can’t stress enough….find another place to camp!! If you aren’t one of the “seasonals”, you are an outsider and an enemy.

I spent a week fly fishing the local waters. Solo tent camper. Site was level and shaded by several river birch. The owners were very cordial. Restrooms and showers were spotless. Neighbor campers were polite and courteous. Local General Store has great gourmet sandwiches. Pine Creek – Cedar Run area absolutely beautiful in June. Definitely got my money’s worth.

My wife and I arrived late Sunday night after office hours, as we were getting set up the campground owner came over to make sure all was okay with us and their kindness remained throughout our stay. The campground is beautiful, the shower water was hot and the bathrooms were spotlessly clean. The sites were level, clean and offered a beautiful view of Pine Creek. The owners went out of their way with their hospitality. You could access the bike trail right from the campground. The wildlife abounded on the trail. Deer so close you could almost pet them, a porcupine in a tree right on the trail and we were even graced with the presence of a large black bear walking down the bike trail towards us. We will definitely go back and we recommend Petticoat Junction Campground to anyone who likes to get out into the core of the mountains and enjoy the beauty of nature.
