My boyfriend and I went with our friend to stay for a music festival June 17-19 2011. I made reservations for 3 in March, but wasn’t informed about the $5 extra for each guest over 2 per campsite. The grounds where we set up were located up a steep, unpaved, rocky (not gravel, rocky), narrow road full of sharp turns. They were not well maintained; the grass was so sparse that the ground was nothing but mud the whole weekend. The “resort” has a policy where guests have to wear a paper wrist bracelet while staying. If your bracelet comes off, and you still have it, they’ll replace it for free. If you lose it, it costs an additional $5 for another, even if the reservations are in your name, and you have multiple forms of ID. Nobody looks at these bracelets, ever. The store onsite sells a pack of 2 D batteries for $8, and anything else in there that you might need/want will be similarly upcharged. The park was sold out for the weekend, and in the main performance area, there was a grand total of five portojohns supplied; their toilet paper was never restocked, and they were never emptied.
