    Lost Hills RV Park
I barely rated this 1 star because the people who work there were so nice to my family. Too bad they don’t have somewhere better to work. This place is not what they advertise! Came by on the way to L.A. and had my family meet me there. I was in a Big Rig and it is not as friendly as they claim. That was a little far out there. There are always other trucks parked out in front.
Also deceivingly it advertises Free Wi-Fi so we were expecting cable, internet or TV and which they do not have Any! Not even antennas! So it got pretty boring.

All we wanted to do was relax with a movie and catch up on our business with the internet. The Fully stocked store was a joke. No refrigerators in store so there wasn’t anything you could purchase to make any decent meal with because the other items were outdated and pretty much cheap stuff to fill the shelves. They don’t even have Ice. Pool? There is nothing but dirt out there so the pool was always being cleaned. The fact that holes were dug to fix pipes didn’t help with flying dirt everywhere. Way over priced and over rated as there is nothing else to do out there. A rated 10.0 facility in Bakersfield has all amenities and tons of stuff to do plus FREE ICE, Free Wi-Fi and is priced less than this place. It pays to continue on down the road and really relax….

My wife and I visited this park on 6-1-13. It was beautiful…… I spoke with the managers ( Patricia and Rueben) apparently the park had changed ownership earlier this year. The new owners have put a lot of effort into reviving this park and it shows. They have redone all the sites with new electric service including adding 50 amp service, added trees and landscaping. The pool has been re-plastered and is very nice. The store has been restocked and is open . The laundry room has new machines. The entire building has been repainted inside and out. The bathrooms and showers are beautiful and are very clean. Patricia said they are working on the Wi-Fi service now. I would definitively recommend this park……we stayed in a 30′ motorhome.

This RV park is a total dump! Stark, barren, and one of the most noisy I have ever stayed. The price is ridiculous! No discounts plus surcharge for kids, and if you have an airconditioner!! Never heard of that one! Think the guy at he counter was trying to scalp a few extra bucks for himself! The “pool” has live skate bugs living in it and the “playground” has a few metal broken down pieces that will give any child 3rd degree burns in this kind of heat. The “store” had a few lonely bottles of mustard and ketchup but mostly empty shelves. No wi-fi, cable, really no amenities at all! No other amenities whatsoever.

The only thing this place has is full hookups you will pay full price for. You would be better off dry camping at a Walmart!
