This was a great (and much needed) getaway for my girlfriend and I. We both took a day off in the week and decided to stay at Loon Lake Lodge. We stayed in the motel (her idea), rather than camping but we spent the days fishing and kayak-ing. Everything was pleasant and the room was very nice. My favorite part was definitely renting the wave runners. Her favorite part was probably the restaurant. Next time (hopefully soon!), we’re definitely going to visit the nearby Oregon Dunes and check out all the fun stuff to do there. Other than that, this is a great getaway and I’d recommend it to anyone looking to get away from the city.

Me and my husband consider ourselves outdoors people so we jumped at the chance to visit Loon Lake one time for 3 nights. We drove up in our RV which is brand new so I wanted to make sure the RV site was nicely equipped for my new baby! We went for the front lake pull-thru with full hookup so we can have a nice comfortable stay in our RV. The location was spectacular and perfect in every way – I could not have asked for more on this lovely weekend on Loon lake. The location was definitely near the water, as advertised, and we had a terrific time fishing, hiking, and just enjoying the relaxation that Loon Lake afford on a lovely day. Me and my hubby are not the sporty types but we did see a lot of folks out there having a ball on the lake so maybe next time we will go for it! Service was good and we did not have any issues thank goodness. I would not hesitate to go back to the RV hookup at Loon lake again!

Everything about the Loon Lake Resort is just so perfect. The location, the lake, the services, the cottages, the staff, everything. We stayed here in a motor home. The sites are spacious with full hook ups. There is no greenery or shade around though. They are just gravel sites. Not that it bothered us much. The showers are clean and well maintained. The location is excellent. The kids love the marina beach and just wouldn’t come out of it. It helps that you can always see them from your RV because its so close to the marina. We rented a pontoon boat and headed out to the swimming area and recreational areas. The next day, we went jet skiing and also rented a waverunner. We really wanted to rent out a houseboat but the smaller one was already taken and the larger one was expensive. My husband went out with his fishing boat and returned with his catch of 10 of which, one was a monster. All in all, this was a great family getaway. Highly recommend this place to anyone – Martha Nash
