We stayed in a lakefront cabin at Nashville shores Marina in July, 2013. When we checked in we were given 2 pages of don’ts. No we are glad you are here, we hope you enjoy your vacation and are looking forward to you coming again.
We checked in and found the place to be very clean and neat, but on further notice there was no mat at the door, no
bath mat in the bathroom, only 2 bath towels and 1 face cloth for 4 people, no dish cloth, dish towels or pot holders in the kitchen. They had given us an inventory list of everything when we checked in. We proceeded to go back to the
office and was told that there was a sponge in the kitchen and that is all that they furnished. This sponge was 4″ X 4″.
Looked like it had been cut from a larger sponge. No sharp kitchen knife. No vanity in the bathroom. Just a pedestal
sink with no where to lay anything. No dresser or chest in the bedrooms. Only a small night stand with a lamp. one
mirror in the whole place, which was in the bathroom. We proceeded to go a buy what we needed to be able to stay
in the cabin. They did bring us more towels for the bathroom, but on the morning we left we were short a bath towel for one person. I would like to say the area is very beautiful. The lake and marina where pretty with the view from the front porch. There was on other thing that we were concerned about and that was the staircase, didn’t look very safe. An accident waiting to happen. We would like to think that something could be done to make the cabin more comfortable for your guests.

We stayed at the Nashville Shores cabins on July 4 weekend. The water park was terrific and they offer discount tickets to the waterpark. We brought our boat and docked at the marina which is very close. The cabin was great with new stuff including flat screen tv, new appliances and great a/c. It had a loft and a pull-out for the kids. The fishing was good and the cabins are only about 60 feet from the lake so you can watch the kids. The cabin also came with a fire ring, grill, and picnic table and 2 plastic adirondack chairs on the deck. I would rate it 9/10.

THE CABINS AT NASHVILLE SHORES ARE GREAT. WE STAYED THERE ON MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND AND IN AUGUST. WE HAD NO SEWER PROBLEMS. THE CABINS ARE NEWLY REMODELED AND CLEAN. I THINK THESE ARE THE ONLY CABINS ON PERCY PRIEST LAKE. THE MARINA AND WATERPARK ARE RIGHT NEXT TO THE CABINS. WE HAD A GREAT TIME AND MY FAMILY WILL COME BACK. THE KIDS LOVED THE PLACE.

I was so excited to hear that Nashville Shores once again had RV camping, we made reservations for the weekend thinking that I would surprise my aunt and her 4yr old granddaughter, what a surprise I got when the lakefront camping was just that lakefront with not a single place for the campers to swim or enjoy the water besides to look at it. But we could pay $24.95/day per person (so called discount prices)to get into the waterpark. I have never been to a resort campground where you had to pay to go swimming. For $50/nite it is not worth camping here unless you are quite wealthy. How do you explain to a 4 yr old that she cannot go swimming in the big lake that is right in front of her. The advertised playground is no bigger than the one she has at home.
NEEDLESS TO SAY VERY DISSAPPOINTED AND DO NOT ADVISE CAMPING HERE.

Our family attended a reunion on Memorial day, some docked at Elm Hill Marina, some at the Nashville Shores campsite but we stayed at the cabins. We han plumbing problems each night which were tolerable, but our calls for service were not responded to by call or note and we never knew if the toilet would be operable. When leaving my brother spent hours battling sewer problems at the RV park where he and several others were ankle deep in the weekend fun.
I did think that the room was clean and a good value, however, the only dinner/kitchen table was not enough for the weekend, there were no end tables anywhere and the closet doors didn’t slide.
Also, fully equipped does not include towels or bedding, so be prepared to bring alot of extras and know that there’s no laundry area so wet items go back with you too.
