This is not a campground in so much as it is an RV retirement community from what we saw.

Yes, the facility was clean except for the few piles of building materials near the “tenting” area.

They have a no advanced refund or refund fee policy, so, if you plan to stay and pay in advance, be prepared to lose all your money as there is no option payment recapture of use of a cancellation fee. So, if you make plans for say 1 week, and, something should prevent you from arriving, be prepared to forfeit all of your money. They are ruthless with understanding life circumstances and will just tell you, there is something wrong with you.

If you plan on “tenting it” with electric, then be prepared to tent among the push desiel’s, fifth wheel’s and the like with the concrete patio’s, patio furniture, paved driveway’s, satalite dishes.

The converted mobile home(s) on the property took away from the “nature” feel that camping should have.

The closed gate (key access only) community concept they have going for thier “campground”, in my opinion anyway, is rather rediculious. Who would need that in the middle of the woods? I would think it would be appropriate for those campgrounds that are in a more dangerous urban setting or near big cities, or, in this case a campground filled with very aged people who are probably skiddish. This just seemed a bit creepy to me. And the staff treated us like we were still in diapers.

Pay at your own risk and good luck…
