This was our first trip to florida and it was a working trip for a national tax office. We are from Michigan and didn’t have any idea of what to expect or where to look for an r.v. park. Found two and stayed at both. First was South Bay R.V. Park, part of West Palm Beach County Park system. A beautiful well maintained and quiet park on south end of Okeechobee Lake. We HIGHLY recomend this park if you want peace and quiet without alot of in park activity! Second park, chosen because was closer to work was Lion Country Safari KOA. Again, this park is well maintained and the staff is second to none. Rates a bit pricey in peak periods but well worth it. Bathrooms, pool, campsites, office and entire park are spotless and kept in tip top shape. Next door is the Lion Country Safari and it is an excellent attraction, again well maintained and a drive thru safari with many, many animals to watch. Will return to enjoy this location.
