Although there are lots of nice pictures and a list of ammenities, there is one thing you should know about this campground: noise! Tent and trailer sites are stacked right next to eachother, there is no privacy, and the staff uses loud equipment during the day (weed whackers, chain saws, compressors) the noise seemed to never end. Kids will enjoy it as there is alot to do: swimming pool, playground, lawn, game room. but bathrooms were not very clean (sinks in game room looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a week–and when you have between 100-200 people there…) not to mention the water damage to the wood paneling in the game room bathroom–icky. Basically, if you are lucky enough to get a large tent site near the river or a lodge up above the playground, you’ll enjoy your stay. Otherwise you will feel like you’re in a zoo. but this I’ve found is somewhat typical for KOAs located near tourist towns. so if you’ve liked this type of KOA before, you’ll like it. I prefer a more quiet natural setting.
