This could be a nice place EXCEPT for unprofessional management. The senior owner has serious rage issues, and he was threatening and verbally abusive towards my wife. All she did was ask why guest fees for day-use of playground were so high. The owner simply lost control, shouting insults at my wife as she retreated from the campground office. We recommend that unaccompanied women do not enter office if senior owner is present. The Better Business Bureau has lowered its grade for KOA Lakeside campground to “C”, and Lakeside KOA is not BBB accredited. KOA Lakeside as disabled customer reviews on their franchise website. The Larimer County Health Department rates food safety at Lakeside KOA as “Marginal.”
