In July of 2009 we visited the Redwoods in Northern California and stayed at Klamath with our two families and one dog. Our first stop was the campsite that came up first online. But there is a difference between good marketing and a good camping experience.

After a so-so experience at Klamath River RV, we moved over to the much nicer, newer and more easily accessible Camper Corral and we were treated like visiting royalty!

Lessons learned: Do more than online research, call and ask about everything. Then call someplace like a local pizza kitchen and see what opinion they have. Those guys see things as they really are and will often give an honest opinion of the businesses in the area.
