The only good thing about this place was the extremely professional and nice campground host, Wendy who parked us and the river. Anybody would be lucky to get her. Other than that – a lack of professionalism – the website indicated Mom and Pop and they aren’t kidding. Website doesn’t speak to different rates for different people or “Mom” who is a busybody and actually kept a discussion re: herself and her family going for over 2 hours (a friend for years who was also here moved to another park in town due to the issue with the owner and her need to talk about herself for incredible amounts of time – he was pigeonholed last weekend for over 45 minutes as he tried to get the answer to a question – which he never did get from her). NO OFFICE and the sign they have for the host is small and in a place it can’t be seen, so nobody knows where to go or what to do. No mention of any of this on the telephone and even once parked it is impossible to know which host is on duty. The sign says ‘park in pullthroughs after hours”. No mention of where the pull thrus are nor of what the hours are, so…………….Laundry with 2 very small washers and dryers – $3.75 per load or MORE as the dryers don’t dry well. Friends here last fall and said the washer that has a “out of order” sign on it was that way then. The SINGLE bathroom (unless you count the outhouses in one of their “green areas”) is through the laundry room and attached to some house and although the hosts clean every day, it needs sandblasted and painted and has a lack of light bulbs in the fixtures. NO TV – 1 broadcast channel available and that’s all. Trees all over so sat tv is difficult at best. The wifi was “just upgraded this year” – it must have been really bad before as it is really slow and all but unuseable for those who aren’t within 3 spots of their transmitters. All in all a BAD experience, left a bad taste in our mouths for this whole area. We moved on down the road to another town 9 miles and are still on the river with ALL the amenities and nobody bad mouthing other guests and/or engaging us in extended conversations about how important they are.

This was by far the worst, most unprofessional place we have ever stayed. We stayed in a cabin, there wasn’t even soap in the bathroom to wash our hands. They were very dirty, spider webs everywhere! We were checked in by some very nice people on the first day, but on the second day we were sitting outside our cabin when the owner of the place drove up to us and was asking all sorts of questions about who is staying in what cabin. We answered that 3 of us, my wife and I and our 9 year old child. She said that our daughter was not on the reservation and demanded that we pay an extra $5 for each day that we were staying because our daughter flushes the toilet. Originally we told them that there would be 3 of us, and the couple that checked us in saw all 3 of us and never said anything upon checking in. So, we refused to pay them based on their error of not writing down that there would be all 3 staying in this room. I am also a wounded Vet, I have lost both of my legs serving in Iraq and I have a service dog. The owner “Pat” (she didn’t want to give us her real name) Told us that she would not have allowed us to bring my service dog, she told us that she would have had no vacancy, that all dogs were not allowed, not even a service dog. We told her of the service dog laws, and she then cussed us out and told us we were never welcome there again. I told her that we would never come back again! She was such a nightmare to deal with and I would never recommend this place to anyone! So, when we arrived, our cabin was dirty, no soap and there was no hot water to use, their bed was so hard we had to use a pillow under us so we could actually sleep. There was thousands of bugs in our room as well. It was awful! Don’t waist your money on this crappy place!
