We camped with friends and took the caverns tour during our stay. There are no sewer connections at each site, but there is a dump station on the way out.

THE BATHROOMS ARE THE BEST we’ve EVER seen .. so far. They are spacious, clean, new and offer plenty of hot water.

Spaces are private and roomy, and easy to get set up. The butterfly garden and tour building are worth seeing. NO CAMERAS allowed on the tour though, which was a disappointment for me. Lots of opportunities inside the tour building though. Volunteers do a great job keeping the area clean, neat & tidy.

Being 1 of the last living caverns in the US, it’s a unique experience and worth seeing. If you are claustrophobic, at least go into the tour building…. you get enough of the feel for the live caverns … and it’s free!
