Nestled on the banks of the Gerle Creek Fork, Gerle Creek Campground has lots of opportunity for fishing and other water activities. Hiking and biking are also other popular activities.

  • The campground is generally open between Memorial Day Weekend and mid-October. These dates are affected by snow conditions.
  • The campground is at about 5,300’ elevation.
  • All food must be stored in the food lockers (Bear Boxes).
