The park is open year round, and is boondocking only. No sewer dump, not even a “common” one. This park is located near an old Army fort. Your children will enjoy playing around the remnants of the fort. Also, being located near the Keystone Ferry terminal, this park offers spectacular views of Washington State Ferries coming and going from Port Townsend. There is a small restaurant within walking distance, Keystone Cafe, if you don't feel like cooking. I like to use this park when I have reservations on the Ferry. I stay at this park the night before, and then leisurely get up the next morning to board the ferry. If you come here in the winter, you may need to bring one of those Honda Inverters if you don't have a generator.
