This place is a crap hole. Would never stay there again. The wife and I stayed there a week because we prepaid. What a mistake. The place is noisy, with trucks constantly going in and out with no mufflers. The police were there several times during the week for domestic problems. The food was terrible in the restaurant. We stayed in one of the house keeping cabins. Had to stop the house cleaner just to ask for toilet paper one day, because she did bother to leave any. Had to ask another day for soap since she did not bother to leave any. When we checked out the person did not even say “thank you” or ask us how our stay was. Avoid this place at all cost. Throw your money on the ground and burn it instead. You will enjoy it more.

This campground is beautiful…the staff: not so much. The laborers running around are hard workers, but the upper staff and management are rude and inconsiderate on a good day. The laundry and bath facilities are dumps (thank God there’s decent laundromats nearby). If it weren’t for the location and scenery, we’d have chosen another campground, for sure. Thankfully, unless you require something, you won’t have to come into contact with the staff too often. They will probably just nod and ignore you, anyway. The pads are pretty level, though some are cracked. Watch for overhanging limbs when pulling in, too. We got a very nice corner site near some great neighbors, and decided that the pros outweighed the cons for our purposes. Just don’t expect a “resort” experience. With the proximity to the airport, you’ll have to deal with some overhead noise, but it’s bearable, and we like the closeness to large towns, without losing the rural setting.
All-in-all, we give the park 4 stars, and the staff a 1-.
