Camp sites are very close together so hopfully you like noisy drunk neighbors.
The lake looks nice in the photos but the shore is rocky and the bottom is muddy/slimy. It’s also a very small beach.
    The picnic tables are rickity.
At breakfast our last morning our experience was poor. No matter what we did we got lectured by the staff. There were no signs or directions given to explain their protocol. The biggest gaff was when I picked up a piece of french toast with my fingers, and I was carful only to touch the one I took, then was loudly admonished by a staff member for not using the metal tongs sitting atop the foil that I honestly did not see. He demanded to know if I was right or left handed for some reason. He also informed me that the health department would make them throw all that food away because I did not use the tongs! I was so flustered and went back to my seat then realized when the lady made my ‘omlete’ she used her bare hands to scoop the toppings, no one had hair nets on, there was a small dog leashed under one of the tables and they had us reusing our dirty plates when we went for seconds! Every time that man slid french toast on someone’s dirty plate he used that same spattula on the next person! What would the health department think of that!?!
We spent $30 per tent per night
$7.50 per person for that one breakfast
    $5 per bundle of wood
    $3 per bag of ice…
    total: $210
I will never go back there.

Although I did not have the pleasure of this gourmet breakfast – I agree with your assessment. This is in no way a “resort” as the name implies and their website reminds me of an online dating site. Guess you can put some great pictures up and says lots of what we want to hear but it’s hard to hide the truth when you get there.
