The campground was great – but the staff were horrible. They would chase you around in their ATV and hassle you constantly. They would complain you were driving the wrong direction, but no signs are posted indicating direction. WiFi didn’t work at our spot, so we went up near the pavilion. Manager sped over on his ATV and started began interrogating us on what we thought we were doing. He said we couldn’t use their WiFi. I reminded him we were staying in the park. he got all pissy and asked what slip we were in. I told him and he just kind of huffed and rode off without saying and thing else or apologizing for his behavior. If you have a choice, stay somewhere else. The management completely ruined what would have been a beautiful stay.

Beautiful park, fantastic value for the dollar, friendly staff. Neat, well maintained, with all the amenities. Off the beaten path, little to do in Timberon….which is exactly why I love this place. The best kept secret in NM
