The WORST camping experience EVER!!!! First off….if you want wood, bring some. because the camp hosts are too lazy to get you any out of their wood compartment and will tell you to drive back to Sedona get some. There are 5 camp hosts, and they are terrorists!!!!

It was supposed to be a Girl’s Camping Trip away from the boys…so me and my BFF booked this camp spot online, not knowing what we were getting ourselves into.

From the time we arrived at 4 PM, we were treated rudely. It was already getting cold, and the camp hosts, 2 of them would not get out of their motor homes to go to the office so we could get wood. They told us we could drive back to town if we needed wood.

Some poor woman locked her keys in her car and cell phones don’t work down there. So I went to the camp host and asked if there was a phone she could use to call a lock smith, she said NO, that the lady would have to walk a mile up the road if she needed help. Than she told us, that it would be nice if we drove her up to use the phone. Well later, I found out there was a phone in the office and AGAIN the camp host was being lazy!!!

There is a “No Audio Law” and that applies anytime, day or night!! We did not know this, and at 730 PM was told quite rudely about this law. Our music was not load, we could hardly even hear it, if we were talking. We were having a glass of wine at this time, before dinner. This is when the camp host told us that Alcohol was prohibited.!!!!

This camp host is fairly new, and clearly not happy! She decided to make it her mission to make our life miserable. Her and her male companion, would stalk us. If we walked to the bathrooms, they would follow us. The male would stand in front of our camp with this arms crossed and just watch us. He even hid in the bushes at one point. It was awful!!! This went on all night long.

If you want to spend a night in Oak Creek Canyon, there are many other camp grounds that are better than this one. Don’t waste your money here, unless you want to be stalked and spied on.

You should only stay here if you go to bed when it gets dark and you don’t like music and you don’t drink!!!! This is a Nazi’s Campground and you must be aware of this!!!
