If you have a fully self-contained RV and are going to use your own toilet and showers you wouldn’t mind staying here. If you have a smaller RV or a tent, forget it.

The bathrooms and showers are locked from 9pm to 9am. There are 2 porta-potties set up to serve the entire campground when the bathrooms are locked. The porta-pottie I used had a sticker that was supposed to show when it was last serviced, but nothing had been written on there. The sticker said the porta-pottie was designed to handle 10 people for a week, and it is being severely overtaxed. Unfortunately one does need to breathe while using the facility and this one was 3/4 full – not pleasant after a hot North Dakota summer day.

There wasn’t very much in the campground store and the woman in charge was not the most pleasant person so we didn’t poke around much.

We were in a tent in the overflow area, right next to the bathrooms, and kids kept running by our tent until the bathrooms were locked up for the night. Even though it’s a few blocks off the highway traffic noise was bad, and the semi-permanent residents all seemed to drive diesel trucks and come home about 11pm.

If we ever go through the Williston area again we will just keep on driving. We will never stop here again.
