    There was NO description of your reservation policies on your website. Care to explain where your policy states a time limit on cancelling? I have taken screenshots of every page on your website in case we need to go to court over this. Due to the nature of my job I CANNOT reschedule vacation. Once I put my dates in at the beggining of the year, I cannot change it. I don't have to discuss anything with you or anybody else. I've already cancelled the charges on the credit card and the credit card company will take care of it. I ain't losing any money. But you have and will continue to lose customers over this, as I will certainly make sure that your practices are known to the people I know. I am also putting a company wide email together to make others in my organization aware of your practices. Now, had your business done the right thing I may have changed one of my vacation destinations later in the year to go there, but not now. But it isn't you decision on weather or not you give a refund or credit. Bottom line is, we made no aggreement written or expressed about a cancellation term. We signed nothing agreeing to it. There is nothing on your website regarding early cancellation. I'll let the credit card company deal with it until I need to take further action. Rest assured. If you do get away with charging my credit card company, I will take any and all legal action available to me no matter what the cost. This isn't about money. It's about principle.

    Try booking your reservations at any hotel/motel, hotels.com, expedia, travelocity, disney world, motel 6, etc. and they charge you if you are too close your scheduled arrival date. Some charge you the entire deposit amount and you get no refund. “Kris” booked on a major holiday weekend and cancelled 10 days before. We understand things come up. We have had several with sick children, etc. We give everyone a credit to our campground for the full deposit amount minus $10. “Kris” could have rescheduled easily or switched weekends immediately, I would not have charged the cancellation fee because she was only moving her reservation even though it was a holiday. But because I have to file the reservation and recall it later, we subtract monies from their credit, we do not charge them additional monies. We feel this is fair. Too bad Kris did not discuss this with us further. Now not using her credit she loses the whole amount, not just the $10.

    We are very disappointed in the conduct of the staff at artesian springs. We had plans to go there in a couple of weeks. Recently I suffered a major back injury. We emailed them to cancel the reservation and they informed us that they were going to charge us a cancellation fee. Their website had no policy regarding cancelling in advance. They made up my mind for me. I will never visit their place and will make sure that all of my fellow rv family knows about their conduct. In my opinion that's just bad business practices. BTW, I would have been willing to reschedule our reservation to a later date, but it should have been my choice. Not theirs. Because of their conduct they not only lost my business forever, but also the couple who planned on meeting up there. And I will make sure that anyone whom I know that rv's will know about their business practices.
